"For our beloved dog and member of our family"
I looked out the window in the kitchen today,
The first thing I saw... the fresh mound of dirt
where you loved to lay.
You were such a good and faithful friend,
You were always ready to protect and defend.
You were a neglected puppy running loose,eleven years ago,
The boys brought you home,fed you,loved you and watched you grow.
You were a beautiful dog,we were just so blessed,
As for you...you were always the best.
A member of our family for all those years,
I can't seem to look out this window,without shedding tears.
The boys together, made a cross to put on your grave,
To thank you for all those years of protection and loving you
gave.
We will always hold your memory near,
There will never be another pet so dear.
