This poem was written for my daughter three months before she was due to explain the reason "Daddy" would not be visiable.

Our little girl,
Although Daddy fell asleep,
Your still our little girl,
And he can still see.
He'll see your birth,
Your tears, your smiles,
He'll walk with you always,
Every step of those miles.
A strong little trio,
the three of us will be,
And daddy will look after us,
Nathan, you and me.
It will be our job to make him proud,
Keep the twinkle in his eye,
He always had that twinkle,
And we shall never let that die.
You must know times will be hard,
And so we must be strong,
Although there will be a time for questions,
And for those answers you will long.
But know you were given his name,
Because it's through yourself and Nathan he'll live on,
And everytime I see you both,
I'll know he'll never be gone.
You will never have a conversation,
Or share a "daddy's girl" kiss,
But he'll be shooting them at you all the time,
And trust me...Daddy will never miss.
I will help as much as I can,
To create your Narnia,
Daddy will be our angel,
But you will live our Angel-Antonia.
