Uninvited GuestI'll seek you out until I find for my debut, I will take you to bed and control you; I will make you sweat as well as ache, Even with blankets you'll shiver and shake; You'll grunt and groan from my invasion, And running to the bathroom on occasion; I'm no heavyweight but will knock you out, You won't feel like moving with no doubt, I will make your nose all sore and red, And even wishing that you were dead; I'll make your throat to cough and hack, Your brain may even feel out of whack; I am going to make you like staying in bed, Probably no food, just liquids instead; You'll be praying and asking why me Lord, As I make you feel as if being ignored; You'll be exhausted until I decide to leave, But I'm not gone until I finally achieve; It may be a week or more that I'm with you, Giving you all my love as a friend the flu.
