I sit and think as the days pass on by...
In my eyes you resemble a sweet butterfly
So very young still with soft tender wings
To the world you will bring such beautiful things
I know things seem shaky....
Life is difficult at the start
But I know you can do it...
I feel it in my heart
So spread your wings
And take to the sky
With love under your wings
You won't be denied
And what an inspiration to all you will be
When my baby butterfly is finally set free
Carried by the wind, I will watch you go
I have loved the beauty of watching you grow
