They Say…They say there's a reason for everything, And I guess I believe that's true, But you know, sometimes I really wonder why… We have such trials that we have to get through! They say that life's ups and downs… Are for a reason or two... But you know, it's a wonder we survive, Some of the hell that we go through! They say He looks after us, And that He really and truly does care, But if that's the case, then tell me why… A lot in life's unfair! They say that when we pass over… We will find out the reasons why, Of all the things that happened in life, And the things that make us cry. They say that there's a message in everything, And our lives are already mapped out, So why do we often disbelieve, And why do we often doubt? They say we shouldn't question… The why's and where-fore's of life, And accept our lot, and never complain, Just get on and deal with the strife. They say all this, but do they mean it? Because I really do believe, No-one really wants hurt and sadness, So why do we all deceive? They say we should accept it all, They say we shouldn't whine, They say that it's all to test us… They say we will know why, in time! They Say It… But Do They Accept It?
