Thunder claps and the sky turns gray,
She has entered the atmosphere
And life has decided to exit
My wilted body.
I'm laying lifeless at the bottom
Of the bathtub, devoid of movement,
Remnants of blood
Leaving a rim of red around
The tubs edge.
The devil giveth
And the devil,
She taketh away as simply
As the silver blade that
Punctured a line on my pale skin,
Veins thrashed, no repair possible.
The water still runs,
Filling up the tub, racing over the edge.
Any chance of survival thrown away
As my head plunges
Into the now pink water,
My nostrils breathing in the water,
Filling my lungs…
A sky turning red as blood for
My slated arrival.
Now I am awakened…
Reawakened.
