I'm no sleeping beauty,
Perhaps a sleeping ugly,
Snoring loudly in my slumber,
A waterfall of drool
Cascading onto my pillow.
I've tossed and turned all night
To earn this sleep so
Away I snore to dreamland,
Where I have wings and
Can fly. Hey ya!
You peer in to see me,
Twisted up in my blankets,
Sprawled out all over the bed,
Mumbling obscenities in my snooze.
After the first peek,
You are more than reluctant
To enter. Away with you!
You back up and get on your
Precious white horse,
A white Escalade.
You leave without remorse,
No kissy-kissy to wake me up
And I am left,
To choke on my saliva.
