WhooooooooooooDear Mr NTL man, I got such a nice surprise, When I opened my mail today... I couldn't believe my eyes! For sitting in my in-box, Was a ditty just for me, What a nice thing to do, I'm made up, as you can see! Not many write a poem They find it so hard you see, I'm afraid they don't feel up to the task, As they very often tell me. But here you are, Mr NTL, A budding poet in the making, But please don't give your job up, And go pro and all forsaking! Cos if you did what would I do, Without a 'rose between the thorn!' No Mr NTL man to help me out, I'd be so forlorn! Now I have to say that you are right, NTL's the one for me... And I promote you all the time, Cos I love the service you see! All I have to do is make a call, But from now on I'll send a mail, Because as you will agree with me, The post delivers like a snail! That's no good for me though, Because if NTL goes down, I can't work my web site's, And that causes me to frown! So when NTL has a glitch, I start to cry, I sob and wail, My web's are important to me, So I ask each day; 'please don't fail!' And though at times it does, It's as normal as can be, Because everything has a glitch or too, So you'll never get hassle from me! I'm glad you lot are pleased... With the remarks I made about your staff, Because in today's society, Tis hard to come by a laugh! People can be miserable... In the job they do, But Ian and Jimmy were truly great, And that's why I wrote to you! So now you're a poet in the making, And golly that's going to be fun, Because if you respond to customers like that... NTL's job that day - is a job well done! So then, do you get a pay rise? For being, oh, so nice to us! And if you don't, why not! And do you want me to kick up a fuss? Now I'm really only joking, As I'm sure you know I am, Cos after all, when said and done...
