Playful Winter Days

I look at you
Snowball in my hand
There's a gleam in my eye
That you understand
Your eyebrows raise in laughter
As you pretend to runaway
It's a side of our love
That has come out to play

You fall to the ground
Helpless in the snow
But there's more to the story
That I didn't know
For in all of my gloating
There was mischief about
A snowball whizzes by me
And I let out a shout

So I fall to the ground
Even though you did miss
And you knelt down beside me
To give me a kiss
You looked at me then
Eyeing me from every angle
I asked what you were looking at
And you said with love...my snow angel
