Wings of death
Spread like wildfire
someone with him
in the west side park
in the sunlit garden
He is on the back street
kisses her on the river bank
in the shopping mall
he has ignored my love
An act of betrayal
i have given everything
my anguish and pain
he did not care
My face tells a tale
of human bondage
of bites of parting
my heart yearns for company
Life trudges on
sunrays filters through skylight
i wander near the window
my voice can not be heard
No one is here to share my plight
alone in this glass room
why he should snuff
the light of my life
Who will slit my throat
who will force me to jump
who will knock me out
who will send me to death?
Open the window
fresh air blows me out
i have my answer
my wings are ready to fly.
