In search of contentment, in mere pleasures I seek,
I aimlessly journey for new height's to entreat.
With each day I envision my dreams this day will come true,
Only to end it disillusioned, filled with anguish, and at the least feeling blue.
Every morning I arise, persistent anew,
Looking for answers, that will challenge my view.
I know somewhere maybe locked deep within my mind,
lie's the joy that I'm yearning for, that is undeniably mine.
Now the days my friend have turned into year's,
no doubt after many battles, defeats, and countless tears.
The endeavor to find peace was there all the time,
with love, joy and peace all intertwined.
The point to this poem is, to all who long to live free,
Is that the only true answer, they hung on a tree.
It's Jesus our Lord and Savior, King of all Kings,
Our Master and deliver, and for all eternity we shall sing!
