Peaceful Love

I am serene with love that will not cease,
Because Jesus Christ gives me His peace;
God keeps a perfect peace fed to my mind,
Nourishing my soul with tranquility refined;
For the Lord God has everlasting strength,
And endurance is able to go an extra length;
I am centered in God's most perfect plan,
Nothing can disturb my peace that began;
These words of peace shall be in my heart,
To love our God with all my soul to impart;
I shall enjoy life throughout every moment,
Knowing God's sacrifice that He had sent;
For our God is love and not a god of war,
With all of the wonderful facets to explore;
My mind's clearly focused on just one thing,
Freeing up channels so that peace can cling;
As calm peace flows God directs my pace,
For being in His presence is not a disgrace;
I am careful about thoughts that penetrate,
For those that preserve my peaceful state.
