Sometimes we tend to have unrealistic expectations,
We all want it on a silver platter with no strife?
Reality not that simple never to be a realization
To portray life in general one must be careful,
From beginning to the ending sequence
Reality is not Hollywood!
Nor preacher's wishful illusions infatuations
All in good intention wishing they could,
Fabricate a perfect world no tears no pain.
Life is a place of on hand experience and expectations,
Live and learn crawl, walk, sometimes fall!
Step by step push and shove to feel the gain,
Get up and go that's what in powers against all odds.
Life is what we make it how we choose to live it?
No one knows all the answers all here to learn.
One thing is for certain to capture life's treasures
Lessons lived and learned to nurture,
To really know the meaning of gain
You must first encounter loss!
To really feel and savor happiness,
One must have known darker side of sadness,
To feel the joy of a sunrise and laughter's
You must first see the clouds and walk in the rain,
To really know the difference of colder and warmer,
Is to feel how bitter and cold is winter!
To know the true value of freedom
First hand you need knowledge,
Of what it is to feel and be captive.
From mistakes we can learn to do better
Life holds mysteries and treasures,
Never hands over it's silver on a platter
Very much less it's precious gold!
One must relentlessly dig to discover all it's wonders,
As to capture life true mysteries never taking for granted
The efforts the cost behind it all the essence seeded,
Only love carries and sees us through all the burdens
Makes the bitter all the much sweeter,
This is reality not a Hollywood mist.
Our purpose and destination revealed,
God never said life would be easy
Just he provides grace sufficient,
On a day-to-day basis,
Life is to be mankind's divine Quest!
A promise and assurance from his Holiness
Sowing and reaping past the thorns,
Stands a rose garden
Golden endless and heavenly scented.
