Today can suck and tomorrow would prove to be worse
Had I decided to sleep in this morning.
It is nine and the morning and already,
Sadly, this day is done.
Damnation to sleep as it desires to conquer me,
And I may let it do so right here, but I
Yell at my subconscious to stay awake a few more hours.
I slept fitfully for 2 hours last night,
Sleep came after another 2 hours of laying lifeless in bed.
Dawn has come fast this morning, much to my dismay,
Off to school, I usher myself, eyes weeping for sleep.
None is to be had. I feel I can comprehend nothing now.
Everything blurs into one big thing, until it is all nothing.
