Under the tall tree, we were bind together
Light flashes with blazing noise of thunder
She was more shaken than badly bruised
Dark cloud pouring down gallons of water
I took her into my open broad arm
Her body was trembling in bitter cold.
She was on the verge of total collapse
Her grip was startlingly solid and firm.
Rain was thick and fast with strong gale
Darkness enveloped the wide skyline
Every leaf, every grass was dripping wet
Water got accumulated on the narrow lane.
Our locks, our clothes were soaked to the skin
She had tears in her shining blue eyes
She smiled; her beauty flowed for a while.
She lived down her trauma and pain.
I wondered- where have we come from?
I was not sure whether she was listening or not
Where will we come from in future?
You learn to be stronger as you go along.
All the while she was calm and appeared to be sick
She was trying to come to terms with herself.
I, kissed her, I took her fingers in my hand
Before I felt, I saw blushes in her rosy cheek.
She went out of my clutches, I was at a fault
Power of my strong arm could not stop her
She did not look back, she ran away in a tearing hurry.
Her voice screamed, then screeched to a grinding halt.
She just vanished in the complex nest of rain.
I was left solitary, alone and to be condemned.
In the raindrop, in the pool of cold muddy water
Slowly I could feel her presence again and again.
