Ah yes, the brink of insanity, I, too, have been there,
Not once, or twice, but regularly.
I am a frequent guest,
I have my own room and board and
When I don't behave, I get my rations taken away.
I live with it because
Living without it is impossible.
My insanity is devastatingly close
To becoming full-fledged crazy.
There's only a teaspoon of sanity left,
And it is as important as the air
That filters through my lungs,
I save it, cherish it as though it were my baby and
When people claim me an idiot,
I throw common sense back into their faces,
Letting them see that
You don't have to be insane to live in this world
But I'll be damned if I don't help a little bit!
