I laid on the perfume a bit thick today,
About as thick as the tension between dad and brother.
The smell waters my eyes,
Like tears filling an empty cup.
My nose burns with each breath of air,
Much like the scalding hot anger of mom.
It strikes a nerve within me
Like the sister who strikes me back.
My head hurts from the overwhelming smell of Timeless,
A hurricane of ache befalls me now,
All this by the wearing
Of too much perfume.
