I use to wish I could be a real poet,
It was not likely and I've always known it.
Making words rhyme is not as easy as it
sounds,
I often have trouble remembering which is an adverb or noun.
That punctuation mark will get me every time,
I use to think all that mattered was making
words rhyme.
There are a lot of marks I had never used before,
Little dots,lines,quotation marks and more.
So I just write the poem and try my best,
Then I ask my friend to put it to the test.
In the end it is always better after I revise,
So thank you Linda for helping and giving me
advise.
Thank you for reminding me I love to write,
Thank you for being my friend and helping
me make it right.
