You are better than me, better than all
For your words are possessive, they are all yours.
You've reserved the special things for yourself,
And left me with bits and pieces that I could not use.
Bits and pieces of scathing phrases, angry like bugs stuck in long hair.
You put the bad before the good.
When it comes to me, you put the bad in my face,
And laugh your horrid cackle, like someone was choking you as you giggled.
You're a momentous person, you care not for simple things,
The laugh of a child, surprises on Christmas morning, a beautiful sunset,
But only the complex things that cost money.
Cars, boats, houses, clothes, hairstyles, etc.
You. You almost had me with you, you almost had me there,
I almost became another consumed nothing, just like you.
Consumed by those big, nameless corporations,
Forcing you to
Buy this, buy that, you can always pay it off later.
You can get anything you want with simple mind games,
You would be a head case if you didn't have the money that said you weren't.
As long as everyone is willing, so willing to tell you these lies,
You have long since identified any truth.
Loathsome. You have loathsome interjections all about you,
SCAM LIES TORTURE BETRAYAL DECEIVER!
You are all these things,
And so, so much more. The dictionary couldn't harness all the words that you are.
You make me hurt in a way
I never thought I could hurt.
You have brought me to a place I'd rather burn into cinders,
You have brought me here to suffer my feelings,
So you don't have to look me in the eye and feel some sort of remorse,
As if a cunning person such as yourself could feel something as that.
You are less than an angel, more than a devil,
And far from being an actual human being.
You are more like a gargoyle, stone faced and angered
Because you are stuck in a place you thought you wanted to be and have since
Changed your mind.
