I wonder would you let me...
Lay rose petals at your feet?
Could I hold you closely
As we drink coffee by a fire?
Would you let me show you
The depths of my desire?
Would you let me cry
When I am finally home?
Could I tell you about the love
Unto me you have shown?
Could I buy you chocolates
Feed them to your lips?
Would you let me sigh
As I get lost in your kiss?
Could I massage your shoulders
At the end of the day?
Even when you're tired
Would you still let me play?
I think about the answers
I must shyly confess
That I know every answer
Would simply be yes
