Pixie In The Trees
There she stands in the shadows
In a tattered dress of wintergreen
Look for her now, you just might
But still she tries to remain unseen
Hair that blends with golden bark
The days fresh air is her perfume
Tiny creature which makes no sound
Holding eyes that reflect the midnight moon
You might think it is the wind
Against your ear that blows
It might be a pixie in the trees
And only she is the one who knows
She's come to touch your heart again
As you walk in her majestic wood
She knows she should remain hidden
But it wouldn't do her any good
For you are the treasure among the trees
The one she decided to search out and find
Coming to you like a moth to a flame
She has waited long for a love of this kind
Now the heart she posesses is shining
And the shadows don't stand a chance
Poor little pixie in the trees
Has been found by undying romance
