My Friend's Prayer
Father, she is my friend
Help her to endure until the end
As I bow my head to pray
I ask you be with her all the way
Father she has so much sorrows and pain
I know with you she has so much to gain
We will meet another time and place
As we say good-bye tears roll down our face
Father I love my friend, this you know
But the time came for me to go
We looked into each others eyes
Knowing my end was very nigh
Father I left her standing there at her door
Knowing we would not see eachother anymore
I told her you will always be here
She said in my heart your always near
Father I bow and I ask a prayer from you
When my friend passes over through
Can I go also with you and to wait
When she enter through that gate
