Broken Promises
Able to make us laugh as well as cry
Forgivness is easy although we dont know why
You walk out and leave us here all alone
Still we are left wondering if your the one
Sometimes your husband, dad, and a friend
Believing this lasts forever but its the end
Hanging on and dreaming of what could of been
Hearing your promises that will never be seen
We hear you speak such promises and hope
Making life difficult and even hard to cope
Wanting to move on and get with our life
Yet you claim we are your children and wife
We try to get by and survive each day
Listening to what you will never say
Wondering how you feel about us being here
And Knowing how we feel about you being there
