Three Cord Knot
Seem like years have passed us by
We dont always know the reason why
Many things we can not change
And seems to be so out of range
Hard to know always when to stay
And when to give up and walk away
When to give things another try
And wanting to break down and cry
Wondering why things sometimes fade
Holding on to the love that He made
Realizing we are not in control
Calling out from our very soul
Trusting that this is His will
And believing in how we feel
Even when things dont appear to be
Believing in what we can not see
The Lord took two and made us one
Our time on this earth will be gone
Wanting to spend what time we got
Jesus you me in a three cord knot
