Love And Hate
You know there are some that hate me
but that's a unique dove
they only see something missing in their self
maybe it's love
the reflections are never truer than when you
see someone else that you don't like
love is always around the corner
some run through it
sometimes you can't go back because it's too late
nothing is closer than love and hate
it's the basis of most relationships
it's these feelings so intense we thrive on the most
on the edge of the emotional cliff
we take a leap of faith
testing the sweetness or sorrow of tomorrow
knowing we can land with a thud
or possibly be kept uplifted
we sometimes forget the in between moments
where feelings are changed
into love or hate.
