Christmas is alive for I am here to say,
For the birth of our savior on that day;
The Holy Spirit came down to conceive,
In the Virgin Mary for her to receive;
About the same time that her cousin,
Would be giving birth to a beacon;
For unto Elizabeth would come John,
That God would have path laid upon;
Paving the way for the Son of Man,
Which would be all part of God's plan;
Now for Joseph the boyfriend of Mary,
Thought it would be best for to marry;
You know how the neighbors love to talk,
An unwed mother they would surely squawk;
Leaving for Bethlehem according to royalty,
Joseph not wanting to suffer any penalty;
With no vacancies were at the Hilton Hotel,
They had to share where the cows dwell,
So Mary gave birth to Jesus a would be king,
Saving from sin a new world he'd be shaping.
