First of all you have to set the date of your Wedding, so you will know what day your Wedding Reception will be. Second you need to decide where to have your Wedding Reception at, then you need to call that place to see if it is open for the date you want. If it is open then you will need to go ahead and book it, most places will want a deposit in advance and then the rest before the day of the happy event. Next you need to start planning how you will set up your Wedding Reception and need to decide on all of the things you will need to get for the Wedding Reception, it will be better if you make a list of all of these things. Note your list may look like this: Nuts, Mints, Decorations, Flowers, Cake, Punch, Napkins, Forks, Plates, Cups, and Etc...
Then you need to decide if you want any print on your napkins and go and get these ordered. Next decide where you are going to get your cake at and start planning what you want and how you want it and get it ordered in advance, because they do book up fast. Then you want to decide where and how you want your punch done. Also trying to get this done and booked too. Don't forget to pick out your Wedding colors, so you will know what colors to get your punch, cake, flowers, napkins, plates, and etc... Then you need to decide what decorations to get like: Balloons, Table Clothes, Flowers, Candles, Streamers, Wedding Bells, Signs and etc... and also decide where to go for all of your decoration needs.
After several months, days and long hours of getting things and planning, the day finally comes to get the place all set up and decorated up for the big day. First start setting up the tables and chairs for the guests. Second set up a table for gifts, for the cake and punch and one for the D.J. Then put the table clothes on all of the tables. Next start hanging up all of the decorations, hanging up the streamers and blowing up the balloons to hang those up too. Next you want to set out the napkins, forks, plates and cups. Also set up all of the flowers as well as the nuts and the mints dishes. Do all of this the night before, so you are not rushing around the day of the Wedding to set it all up. Then on the day of the Wedding you can set up the nuts and the mints. Also set up the cake and fix up the punch and get it all set up and ready. Have your servers to keep an eye on the nuts, mints, cake and punch to keep everything filled to keep things running really smoothly.
