If
If you could see love
how would it appear?
If you could look into my heart
would my ugliness make you back away and get out of here?
If every thought you had could be granted
would there be a thought of you and me painted?
If your hope was gone
who would you cling to?
If you were on top of the world
could I join you?
of all the words in the dictionary
"IF" is the one I would throw away
for love doesn't come with if, and or but
love I have learned comes only with trust.
