will my steps falter... 2/1/02
the righteous one has begun
to ignite the flame of knowledge
be a witness of the divine power
anointed through the One that has no appointee
the All High
reigns supreme,
blessing my earthly odyssey
writing history
for the entire world to comprehend
as simple as A,B,C
our country was founded
by folk that were headed for tragedy
picture my reality
struggling with situations,
I've learned to put my woes
and foes
in the Lord's Hands
now I flow like Thai Chi
my life is consumed with
positive vibes
live for today
cause tomorrow isn't promised
to my eyes,
but I won't be surprised
if I had another chance
wouldn't a single page in my journey be revised,
I've survived ghettos and slums
I've shot ball with killers and bums
I've regrouped my life
now I'm walking the path
how long can it last
will I run out of patience
along the short path
or will my steps falter along the way.....
