Sense of guilt
All the killings- violence, losses
All that happened aftermath
In the years of turmoil, anger
Of acute frustration and outburst.
In protest, in great passion
I could not raise my baritone
My numb hands, my weak legs
I lapsed into a silent zone.
Of high voltage urban life
Uneven narrow path began.
Those rogues selected their own societies
Unmoved, they spared no one.
Can anyone be bold enough?
To punish our indifference
To put us behind the dark cell
For sheer antipathy, gross negligence.
In my lonely existence
A strong resistance was built
Surely I would visit the dark world
Tracked by a sense of inner guilt.
