A New Woman

Teen cry

written at 14 years old

Now i am a teenager, mommy keeps her eyes either glued on the same side of the wall where a clock stands ticking and tocking away.
Or every second she checks her watch.
What is this if i am one second late she's going to throw a fit.
Not just a bit.
A lecture will go on like my teacher who was afraid to retire.
Then she's like Jessie and goes on and on and on.
She will hold on and on and on.
She don't want me to be tom boy...
So i said ok i'll try to be girlie.
"No you're not wearing that."
"Wipe off that eye shadow."
"Wipe off that lipstick, wash off that make-up... no.. er... no you're not wear.... that t shirt it is too short... that's too tight."
Then when she sees she makes me cry, she comes up to me and pulls the covers all around me.
She then hugs me and says "I am sorry i love you i just don't want anything to happen to you, you stay out too, too late, it's too risky."
"Mom I'll be fine i am not scared."
"Drunk people are violent i can't bare anything happening to my daughter my child out of me, the one i tried so hard to get and keep alive.
I love you too much."
"Oh thanks mom."
What a sloppy making up with  mother and daughter.
Always remember mother's do care.
They hate when they know they don't play fair.
They can't risk gum in your hair.
It might mean nothing to you, but to them it does.
Mom's care, they love you even more than treasure.
"I'll give you ten thousand boxes of treasure for your daughter."
"Sorry nothing will replace her, she' worth more than treasure and diamonds and ruby's, real gold and diamond rings.
So try to spend time with your mom and your family.
