Memories Place

I think back to a time of innocence
when all was safe and secure within
a time when childhood dreams lifted
strong as the sail of the wind.

Everything was laid back and simple
no heartache to heavy to fear
and life was an awesome adventure even
though the road didn't always seem clear.

In the midst of those up's and down's
one thing was very familiarly shown
love gave a peaceful state of mind
that planted seeds to be forever sown.

Cherished dreams to live on
no matter what changes we must face
God has given this precious gift that
will linger in memories place.
