Awaiting Response

Matthew 7:7

Ask and it shall be given unto you,
For God considers your real value;
Seek and you shall find your desire,
For God will encourage and inspire;
Knock and the opportunity shall open,
With God your spirits will not dampen;
Just remember this powerful technique,
For no matter, what you may try to seek;
It works so amazingly for your needs,
Asking God for those special seeds;
That will nurture you and help you grow,
As your spirit gives off a radiant glow;
Sometimes though when we ask and pray,
An answer may not be via the expressway;
Maybe it might have just missed our exit,
Then again, a response is still in transit;
With high-speed links through the Internet,
We have a tendency to just merely forget;
God does not have e-mail or a web site,
He's just waiting for you to feel contrite.
