What If He Can't See?Now we all know the story, About Santa and Rudolph too! And about what happens on Christmas Eve, And what they all have to go through! Now Santa's very old you know! I mean to say, he's very aged and worn! I may even have to add... He's weary and all forlorn! Now Rudolph is the red nose reindeer, And do you want to know why that is? Well of course it's to lead Santa's way... So he can to the Christmas biz! You see, his nose is always bright red, And has been for many years, That's so Santa doesn't get lost! Cos it would cause an ocean of tears! So one Christmas Eve, if you should see... Rudolph's nose is no longer red! Then you best shout to Santa... 'I'm over here Santa, I'm in bed!!' Your voice will guide him in the dark, And then he will not miss you out, You'll get your toys, all you girls and boys! There isn't any doubt! And every Christmas Eve from now on! Spare a thought for Santa and Rudolph too! Cos as they dash throughout the night... They'll be cold and feeling blue! So leave the mince pie and milk on the table, And don't forget Rudolph's food! Cos if you forget him, well...! That's just very rude! So Merry Christmas to you all, Each and everyone! Don't forget the most important thing... Tomorrow, you must all have lots of fun! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
