What Happened? (Message to Women)
Wives, what happened to when we were forbidden to speak,
Leaning on our husband because we were weak?
What happened to our modesty, beauty, and grace,
Why has it been covered with masks on our face?
Daughters, what happened to our virtue that was praise,
Why have we turned from God's way?
What happened to us loving our place,
Where is the words with a loving embrace?
Women, what happened to our meek spirit inside,
Reaching out to the needy with arms open wide?
What happened to our candles that never go out by night,
Why have we stood up and demanded our on rights?
Mothers, what happened to the keepers of the home,
Why have we left and started to roam?
What happen that we have become idle,
Why have we started to demand a title?
Sisters, what happened to our modest apparels ,
Why are we wearing gold, costly array and pearls?
What happen to our inner glow of light,
Why has it went out and faded out of sight?
