There Is No Rhyme Or Reason…There is no rhyme or reason, I'm afraid it's all part of life, Hurt, pain and devastation, Torment, heartache and strife! If we tried to justify everything, Then there would be no conclusion, For that's impossible to do, All it would do is cause confusion! We never know what's ahead for us, So we trundle through the days, Dealing with life as it happens, Stage, by stage, by stage…! When we hit a boulder or two, That's the time we start to ask… Why this happened, what was it for…? And why we need to wear a mask! Well I believe we all at some point wear a mask, To hide from the world what we need not show, And when we are feeling better… We lose the mask, and let the hurt go. Sometimes it's not easy though, And we have to stand the test of time… Hang on in there, stay focused… And everything will be fine! But it takes time to heal…it really does, And time is the great healer - they say… And as we are all human, of course we hurt… And sometimes it's hard to get through the day! There is no rhyme or reason though, But we do get through the day… Providing we stay true to ourselves… As long as we deal with life - come what may! Time, tears, hurt and pain, Are the ingredients of life…! Add it up, and the end result… Is a lifetime of hurt and strife! But life is what we make it, So we have to make it good… Do what we have to do to survive… Just as we know we should! So do what you have to do, Stand firm in your belief… But no matter what, whatever you do…! Don't let them steal your heart like a thief! It's your heart, your life…Live it as you should! As I Am!
