Videotape Message
Please dream
because it's that safe place that can never harm you
Please try and learn
it's the only way you will fail and succeed
Please always cling to hope
it's what will keep you going when your world seems to stop
Please laugh as often as you can
it's guaranteed to lift your spirits and it's free!
Please believe in something
because that belief will keep you warm at night
Please always know the value of family
they are the select few that you will always carry with you no matter
where you may go
Please be a good friend
in return I guarantee you will find a couple of true friendships
that will last a lifetime
Please know the value of hard work
nothing is ever free
and if it is there is almost always a hidden agenda
but most of all Please love
from the tips of your fingers
to the bottom of your soul
and if you find that special someone
let it come to you
if it's meant to be it will become crystal clear
love is pure and innocent
please remember this
and yes one more thing
don't be afraid of the unexpected
that is what life is all about
fasten your seatbelt the roller coaster is beginning to start

this was something my friend had of her mom recorded when she was dying of cancer...she read this really sweet message but her dad wouldn't let her see it until she graduated from high school. I sat and watched it with her and it truly brought me to tears and this wansn't even my mom!! Her words I thought were so right on target and with my friend Lori's permission I have printed it here. This isn't the whole videotape but this was what I found so moving. Happy Hoildays Meg
