Wheelchairs Aren't Contagious!They're not you know, contagious, it's a fallacy it isn't true! Anyone can have one, It depends what's wrong with you! You may have no legs - you may have a broken foot, You may have broken your spine, You may have a nasty cut! But no matter what happens in life, we never know what's ahead! No use thinking this and that may happen, Because we are a long time dead! So yes, I have to use a wheelchair, but hey, guess what I think? It's all in the head, the thought and the dread, Cos sometimes life does stink! I'm not allergic to wheelchairs! Cos that would do me wrong! I'd never get about! I'd be stuck home, And that wouldn't do me for long! I was stuck in for a whole 10 months, no way of getting out! So they got me an electric wheelchair! And wow, it's great, there is no doubt! Of course I drive a car, but this chair is the bee's knees, It takes me wherever I wana go! And hills are just a breeze! But people, well, some people, they stare, and stare and stare, Well that's up to them isn't it, Cos me, well I really don't care! But I will say this one thing…When you see a wheelchair today… Look to the person, the one in charge! Don't make them feel bad, cos it's not okay! The wheelchair isn't the person, and the person isn't the chair! So look to the person, the one with the heart, Don't hurt, if you really do care! We care!
