Jesus and the Fig TreeMatthew 24:32-36 "From the fig tree for a lesson to learn, Something that should be of concern; As soon as its branch becomes tender, With all of its glory and its splendor; The fig tree puts forth all its leaves, As bright sunlight that it receives; You know that summer is very near, Knowing that the fruit will persevere; So, when you see all of this waits, You know that He is near the gates; Truly, I will say this unto all of you, To yourself always be thine true; This generation shall not pass away, Till all these things take place someday; When Heaven and Earth will cease, A time that we will truly see peace; But, my words will not fade out, Of that day or hour, do not doubt; No angels or the Son of Man know, Only the Heavenly Father can show."
