 The Unfairness Of Angels

Born in the UK

( adapted from Bruce Springsteins Classis song "Born In the USA,)

Born in a West London Town
The first Kick I got was at the football ground
I had a Dad, who was gay
But he covered it up, in everyway

Born in the UK
I was born in the UK
I was born in the UK
Born In the UK

We struggled to keep up with, next door
So I got a job on a, warehouse floor
I almost joined the army, rifle in my hand
But I had too see more of this Promised Land

Born in the UK
I was born in the UK
I was born in the UK
I was born in the UK
Born in the UK

Came back home, worked with the deaf and the blind
But you never get paid for being kind
I made mistakes with an, Irish female
And that's when this, mighty man fell

I had a brother who was more like a dad
And another who was a complete lad
They had woman who helped ease their pain
But I was alone as every woman was the same

I became a shadow of my society
So I hit the road again to find me
Been almost 10 years burning the sun
Till I realized I was someone

Born in the UK
I was born in the UK
Born in the UK
I'm a long gone loner in the UK
Born in the UK
Born in the UK
Born in the UK
I'm a cool rocking individual in the UK
