I was sincere, so caring comrade ever since,
But my effort and affection were not appreciated;
Most of the persons I trusted so much
betrayed my very self,
They left my heart scarcely damaged,
so I became paranoid.
The world was harsh on me, they were so cruel,
Even my own blood never cared a bit about me;
But a canine friend came in to light up my life,
He was the source of my joy, my strength,
my inspiration.
I was merely touched
by his loyalty and unique companionship,
Too courageous to offer me his only life
day in and day out;
He was very enthusiastic to see me always,
In grief and in sickness,
we were always ready
to stand by each other.
When I needed a friend or a family to rely on,
A shoulder to cry, an encouraging word to hold on;
It was my dog who stayed by my side,
A faithful pet who felt all my pain in his heart.
No one and nothing
can ever replace him as long as I live,
And I will always remember him
as day passes by;
I’m pretty sure I’m gonna miss him so much,
I do thank him
for the memories and unconditional love
worth admiring for.
