I reach for the touch of family
Dissipated in childhood memories
Gone to the hands of disease
Are my unborn brother's life
And her to the grave everlasting
Gone from my external senses
But never far from my heart
Where they live and breathe and laugh
As I cry in bitter remorse of a child
At present to face death's affliction
In the prime of my meager existence
I shall also die in my loved one's
Scrambled thoughts for comforting
From emotions surpassed by grief
In continuance without my living
Or shall paranormal forces expand
The realms of the natural man
To reveal the inner soul within me
To live beyond the dreadful hauntings
From above as voices of family call
Past and present intercedings
Which inspire to live on and receive
The miracle of life from God.
And so it is that life remains
Multidimensional in nature
Where she walks amongst angels
To view from afar her miracle
Of life given to one such as I
Never to understand His wisdom
And her extent of sacrifice
Exalting a dead man to a place
Where I live and breathe and laugh
Again in distant corridors
Today there is no dying pause
Only the joyous sounds of victory
Permeate from heavenly places
Like a mother's encouraged child
Instilling faith into the natural man
Dreams beyond believed expectation
To overcome death's haunting
Grasps the hand of a brother
And entrusts the prayer of a mother
To overcome all impeding obstacles
Submitted to spiritual intercedings
Which inspire to live on and receive
The miracle of life from God.
