Mother Nature

As we pass by these natural wonders
We are taken aback by their beauty,
Tall and proud they stand
Their surroundings are quiet
And at ease with our presence,
This native place so full of innocence
And surprise invites us,
It draws us closer
As we stand in amazement,
We are confused
How this majestic piece of nature
So bold in its favor
Stands untouched by man
And his need for destruction,
As we take a step back
To leave this place of serenity
We are once again reminded
Of the innocence and beauty
Which surrounds us
