They may not have wings showing
Oh! but how they soar and are a blessing!
Gentle and kind words divine,
That keeps echoing in your heart and mind
Dedication, the way they love gives you a hint
They leave their footprints,
Out of the clear blue sky they appear
When you least expected they wipe away your tears,
A gentle touch their hands reaching out so giving
They glow in the dark, eyes so piercing!
Words need not be spoken divine their knowledge
Push comes to shove always living on the edge,
You can rely and depend on them rain or shine
In this world they make all the difference!
When they cross your path it's a divine intervention
Earth angels soar on the wings of compassion,
Always they're in the midst regardless of the situation
Spirit filled eyes that sigh hands that reaches out ,
A simple touch brings healing .
Hearts filled with such love you look to heaven
And Thank God for the comfort they bring ,
Earth angels if you wonder about their existence?
Look inside your heart deep within,
That's where earth angels leave their footprints!
Surely one or more you'll remember for the blessings,
They were or will be there to help you spread your wings.
