There’s a hole in my garden not all that big,
But it’s my little hole one that I dig,
One day it will be larger than life,
For a pond I am making for me and the wife.
I’ll fill it with water, top it with fish,
The hole in the garden, home where they’ll live,
A stream from the corner, will ripple a lot,
With a fountain of splendor, from the mouth of a frog
A rocky terrain will cover the sides,
So the liner that’s left will be hidden from eyes,
Machines to make mist, that will cover the fall,
Will wallow around the top of the pool.
Then when it is done, in the mid summer nights,
Well sit by our pond with all it’s delights,
Relax with our thoughts to the waterfall sound,
And relish the sight of the fish swimming around.
