To The Moon And Back
All aboard the space shuttle,
getting ready to take off,
the countdown begins,
the astronauts are nervous.
Down to the last seconds
then...
blast off,
up, up, up,
gaining speed
and gaining height.
The astronauts are
on their way
to the moon and back,
out into outerspace,
frollicking among the stars.
A dream come true,
fiannly here,
reaching the moon,
first steps on forbidden ground.
Out of the shuttle,
space exploration,
has come to new heights.
ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN,
ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND.
Not long now,
they will have to leave,
go back home to tell
their familes about,
what a sight,
it was to see.
The vision of the Earth,
so far away from home,
it must have been
breathtaking.
Up, up, up,
on their way again,
time to go home
and expand the flight,
for future generations.
