WHEN LOVES NOT YOURS
It’s hard to love when loves not yours,
Forever feeling low stuck in shadows,
When skies are darkened every day,
No doors open to show the way.
You look into her eyes and no,
She’s the one but dare not show,
Feelings that you have had grown,
Loves another’s, and it’s known.
You’re hearts on fire burning deep,
At day and night, when you’re asleep,
Hours turn to days and days turn to weeks,
This woman you love is so unique.
Suddenly feelings swell inside,
All you wish to do is hide,
She can only be your friend,
Feelings that you have must end.
