 God's Love Through Poetry

Motives For Life


Like the motives of the rain,
simply gives nourishment to grow.
Lord, let love be the reason
I want to serve you so.

As a flower gives nector...
sweet as Heaven's Scent.
May my integrity stand for more
than the beauty that was meant.

Though grass covers the hills;
before long is withered, and gone.
Let my life mean more than the
clinging of this world's song.

The mountains freely give height,
and display beauty for all to see.
So shall my love be for those who
are in need.
