A New Woman

Young hearts

Whoa young hearts feel bad.
too much experience through love in plastic metal glass.
A photograph can tell no more.
Just a memory you can never throw away.
A face to see checking you out left right and center.
You feel so good.
Whoa young hearts beat fast.
They try to make it last.
Feeling so vast.
young hearts beat fast.
What can you do with all this grief crying late at night.
Can't get them out of your sight.
You feel so light.
your heart pain feels tight.
others look for a fight.
Whoa eyes can stare hard.
Young hearts beat fast.
This can't be right.
A guy so fine, so out of her way.
She knows he likes her so, but her religion forbids too much closure.
Whoa young hearts beat fast.
If he was gone you try to make it last.
Nothing you can do in a photograph.
whoa young hearts beat fast.
