A KEY BOARD AWAY
POEM EDITED
We sit we wait we wonder,
What will the critics say? ,
Yet will they even bother?
To write to us today.
Is our work worth reading?
Or is it total rot,
Waiting for a critic,
Can make our whole world stop.
Some have put in hours,
Though others put in days,
To sit and write a poem,
Then hope it will amaze.
A consortium of people,
From all around the glob,
With different ways of thinking,
Of how there poems flow.
One and all are waiting,
For someone to write back,
For the critic and their key board,
They give us heart attacks.
We slowly sit and suffer,
As time it passes by,
But remember all the others,
Where together you and I.
So when you read a poem,
If you like at the end,
Give the poet feedback,
Make yourself a friend
